fishing..

today's a fun day!
why?
its cause i went fishing!
with my dear and my daddy..
sounds weird i know..
but thats how it is!
we went east coast,
while dad was helping mum with some stuff,
dear and i went to grab a bite at subway for our hearty breakfast!
to prepare for the exciting events to come..
i thought we will bring it over to mum's and have it there,
but when we went there, theres no space..


so we went to the beach and sat at one of the benches..
it was sweet though..
beautiful weather and all...

i loved it!

we had chats,
commented on people who passed by..

anyways,
we were having it halfway and rain started pouring down..
what a moment..
the sky changed so drastically,
i know i know,
its the end of the year and raining is inevitable,
but still..
why that point of time..
so off we went to find my parents,
after the rain stopped,
the fishing starts!
we went to the nearest stoned ledge,
my dad and dear started hooking the live prawns bought as baits,
threw it out to the vast ocean,
and sat there...



so after 10minutes or so,
there's a bite! its dear's..
i jumped up and look in excitement..
he fought with the fish real hard and finally got it!
whoa..
cool man..

the fish was so beautiful,
as fresh as??

Sashimi la!

but too bad i'm not a raw food person..
=)
after some trouble,
we found a container for it,
collected some sea water and let it be..
so everyone's excited now..
awaiting for the next catch to arrive..

hours

and hours

went by..

still no sign of anything..
tide was reaching the lowest..
so after 5 hours straight of fishing' we decided to leave it till the night..
i got severely sun burned on my hands...
i didn't fish,
i must self proclaim..
i was the one sitting waiting,
like a dumb ass..
while the sun was freaking blazing hot..
nevermind though.,
compared to dear's, mine's nothing..

my dad got tanned too,
but not obvious,
cause he's got dark skin.. =)
went fishing later in the night,
near the pipes,

but it was pitch black soon,
and dear got to run back and grab a torch from my mum..

haha..

poor thing..

met this obnoxious and stupid uncle..
talk like no one's there,
shout and shout while he was fishing,
keep bragging about his past..

so what, uncle?

keep saying no fish, t
his that..
please..
judging from the way he talked,
no fish is ever going to come near us,
i reckon he does not have any common sense either..

nothing much,
just another public nuisance..

my aunts, cousins, uncle came..
and we went back together.. =)
before that we had supper at tampines..

when i reached home,
i was complaining how sad it was for me to get tanned..
how hard i tried to become fair..
i guess its my own fault to have stayed at the stone ledge for the whole time..

pointless saying it now,

try to save my skin from now on.. .. ..
