student internship programme

went to school for lesson,
but to my astonishment..

there was NO LESSON!
yay!

instead,
there's an o.s.i.p and s.i.p presentation..
by the seniors..

it starts and ends at the same time..
so its still the same after all..

..

anyways,
the class,
or at least half of the class celebrated Mevalia's birthday!!

it was fun,
had strawberry topped cheesecake,
and yum..
does that taste good or what..

i love cakes!
and i love birthdays!
it makes me feel so happy..

all the time..

no matter whose birthday issit..
whether its outside,
people singing birthday songs..
i will just break into smiles..

=)

so after the celebration,
we went to the theater for the talk..
it includes presentation from several different course mates as well..

was fun listening to their experiences,
and i definitely learned the tips on how to cope with the new working environment.

• building on a good portfolio
• punctuality
• never take 'no' as an answer
• always ask more of yourself
• you can only get better
• finishing tasks on time

and a whole lot more we'll all need to learn..
i think the best way of learning is through first hand experience..

by experiencing it ourselves..
we can then know what is required of us..
what are our weaknesses and strengths..
and what areas should we improve on..

everyone's different..
therefore its not a whole when one doesn't experience it themselves..

after much consideration,
i will choose to work in companies based in singapore..

although companies overseas tend to provide much more valuable experiences..
i think that building on my foundation locally will be a greater advantage for me..

i would rather go into my own business,
therefore it will be wiser for me to understand the current market in Singapore,
what are their needs,
and others..

through my working experience..
if i start out now..

ok,
enough of my own views..

went to meet dear for lunch,
made an appointment at the nail spa,
for my birthday..
bought some Aloe Vera gel for dear for his sun burns..

went to his house,
watched tv,
used the computer,
and applied some gel on him..

its painful to see him hurt like that..
having trouble even when wearing clothing..

will buy him sun tanning oil..
just so his skin will not get hurt so badly the next time..
